Τι χρειάζεται άμεσα να γίνει Για να μπορέσουμε να “ανοίξουμε” τη δράση μας με ασφάλεια στην κοινωνία και στα σχολεία προσχολικής και σχολικής εκπαίδευσης, παιδικούς σταθμούς και ειδικές ομάδες και δομές ανηλίκων και ενηλίκων, χρειάζεται να κατασκευαστούν τα δύο πολύ μικρά κτίρια με τους ημιυπαίθριους και υπαίθριους χώρους τους, όπου θα πραγματοποιούνται τα σεμινάρια ενηλίκων και τα εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα για τα παιδιά. Επίσης τα κτήρια, θα είναι οι χώροι που θα οργανώνουμε ομιλίες και εργαστήρια με καλεσμένους εισηγητές για θέματα οικολογίας, περιβάλλοντος, υγείας, κλπ. Αλλά και θα κάνουμε τα διαλείμματα μας, ειδικά το καλοκαίρι. Θα μας παρέχουν τις βασικές δομές υγιεινής (τουαλέτα, πλύσιμο, δροσερό πόσιμο νερό), αλλά και θα αποτελούν ένα λειτουργικό παράδειγμα φυσικής βιοκλιματικής δόμησης και οικολογικής διαχείρισης των φυσικών πόρων (πχ συλλογή βρόχινου νερού, ήλιο, άνεμο, δίκτυο λιμνών, κλπ.) και των αποβλήτων μας (“γκρι και μαύρα νερά”). Ενώ παράλληλα αποτελούν παράδειγμα αρμονικής συν-λειτουργίας κλειστού-ημιυπαίθριου και ανοιχτού χώρου (Αρχιτεκτονική και Αρχιτεκτονική Τοπίου)! |

 Τι ζητάμε από εσάς Ζητάμε λοιπόν τη βοήθεια σας για την υλοποίηση των 2 πέτρινων κτιριακών υποδομών (15τμ και 35τμ), οι οποίες είναι αναγκαίες για να μπορούμε με απόλυτη ασφάλεια και καλύπτοντας τις βασικές μας ανάγκες, να δεχτούμε τους μικρούς και μεγάλους φίλους μας στα εκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια και πρακτικά εργαστήρια μας . |
Δραστηριότητες που θα λαμβάνουν χώρα στα κτίρια:
Σεμινάρια ενηλίκων και παιδιών για τη Οικολογική μέθοδο μας “Διαστρωματική Ανασύνθεση”,
Ειδικά προγράμματα “Κοινωνικής και θεραπευτικής Κηπουρικής”.
Προβολές, ομιλίες προσκεκλημένων εισηγητών.
Συζητήσεις, παρέα για ανταλλαγή απόψεων, ερωτήσεων, απαντήσεων, προβληματισμών.
Προετοιμασία των εβδομαδιαίων “πανεριών” φρούτων, λαχανικών, βοτάνων.
Μεταποίηση των φρούτων και των λαχανικών, σε μαρμελάδες, σάλτσες, τουρσί.
Χρησιμότητα κτιρίων
Χώρος διαλείμματος και χαλάρωσης-συγκέντρωσης επισκεπτών-μαθητών.
Προστασία από τις ακραίες καιρικές συνθήκες (υψηλές θερμοκρασίες, έντονη ηλιοφάνεια, καταιγίδες, βροχή).
Τουαλέτα (κομποστική).
Φούρνος Cob.
Παράδειγμα βιοκλιματικής, φυσικής δόμησης.
Οικολογική διαχείριση φυσικών πόρων (συλλογή βρόχινου νερού, αξιοποίηση ηλιακής ενέργειας, ανέμου, φυσικού φωτισμού, κλπ.)
Οικολογική διαχείριση αποβλήτων – δημιουργία 'banana circle'. (επεξεργασία και επανάχρηση “γκρι νερών” από τους νεροχύτες/νιπτήρες και “μαύρων νερών” από την τουαλέτα).

Εμείς δεν έχουμε σταματήσει να υλοποιούμε στοιχεία του αγροκτήματος και συνεχίζουμε...
Παράλληλα με τα 2 κτίρια, εμείς προχωρούμε στην υλοποίηση
του δικτύου μικρών λιμνών, οι οποίες συνδέονται....
με ένα ρυάκι.
Βελτιώνουμε τα όρια των παρτεριών με φυσικά υλικά.
Για να λειτουργήσουμε ως “θεραπευτικός κήπος”, κατασκευάζουμε ειδικά στοιχεία “Ευεργετικής και θεραπευτικής κηπουρικής”, όπως στοιχεία που αφορούν στις ανθρώπινες αισθήσεις, πχ ακοής, όσφρησης, όρασης, γεύσης, αφής, ειδικές προσβάσεις, κτλ,
Ανακατασκευάζουμε τη γειτονιά των μικρών ζώων: το παπιόσπιτο, το κοτέτσι, το κατσικόσπιτο.
Εμπλουτίζουμε τις φυτεύσεις στα περιμετρικά όρια του κτήματος (περίφραξη).
Προχωρούμε στην διαμόρφωση του αγρόκηπου: ενός αγρού με ποικιλία λουλουδιών και εδαφοκαλυπτικών που συνδυάζονται με....
μιά μεγάλη φυσική λίμνη (Natural lake), η οποία θα φιλοξενεί υδρόβια φυτά και ψάρια (που βοηθούν στον καθαρισμό της).
θα υλοποιήσουμε το δάσος ελεύθερου παιχνιδιού για παιδιά, με πρωτότυπες δραστηριότητες και παιχνίδια δεξιοτήτων.
Θα ολοκληρώσουμε τις διαμορφώσεις των διαδρομών των μονοπατιών και των υπαίθριων καθιστικών.
Τέλος θα εξοπλίσουμε τον χώρο με φωτισμό και σήμανση.
......λίγα λόγια για εμάς

Μιά φορά και έναν καιρό......μεγάλωσα σε ένα προάστιο της Θεσσαλονίκης (Άη-Γιάννης), στην αρχή της δεκαετίας του 1970, και παρόλο που τα σπίτια που ζούσαμε, ήταν “μικροαστικές” εργατικές κατοικίες, εγώ αισθανόμουν ότι ζούσα, σε «αγροτικό χωριό», αφού ολόγυρα, όπου έφτανε το μάτι, είχε μικρά δασάκια, αμυγδαλιές και καλλιέργειες με στάρι και κριθάρι, περιβόλια, άλογα και γαϊδούρια, αγελάδες.....
Όταν κατεύθυνα το βλέμμα μου στις πολυκατοικίες, θλιβόμουν και μετά αγνάντευα, τα ατέλειωτα λιβάδια και η ψυχή μου αισθάνονταν ελευθερία και πλούτο....
Μαζί με άλλα παιδιά του συνοικισμού και με πλοίο τη φαντασία, σκαρφιζόμασταν, τα πιο απίθανα παιχνίδια, με ότι υλικά μας προσέφερε απλόχερα η φύση αλλά και τα “χαλάσματα του πολιτισμού”...

What needs to be done first
In order for us to be able to "run" our program safely for our visitors, the schools, the kindergartens and all the special groups of minors and adults that will come to our farm, we need to build two very small buildings with two semi-outdoor and outdoor areas, where our seminars and educational programs will take place. In addition, these structures will also function as the main areas for lectures and workshops with invited speakers on ecology, environment, health, etc; as well as “lunchrooms” for our breaks, especially in the summer. In these structures we have also designed the necessary hygiene areas (toilet, cool drinking water), that will also function as an example of natural bioclimatic construction, as well as a paradigm of ecological management of natural resources (eg rainwater collection, sun, wind, lake network, etc.) and waste ("gray and black water"). At the same time, they are going to act as an example of harmonious co-operation of indoor and outdoor open space (Architecture and Landscape Architecture)!
What we ask of you
We ask for your help to erect the two stone buildings (15sqm and 35sqm) that are absolutely necessary in order for us to be able to welcome our young and old friends at the training seminars and workshops in a safe and organized environment.
We have not stopped developing elements of the farm and we continue ...
Together with the planning of the two buildings, we continue with the implementation of
• the network of small lakes
• which are connected with a stream
• we improve the borders of the flower beds with natural materials
• in order to function as a "therapeutic garden", we construct special elements of "Social and therapeutic gardening" that are related to the human senses; hearing, smell, sight, taste, touch i.e. special accesses, etc.
• we are rebuilding the houses of our little animals: the duck house, the chicken coop, the goat house
• we enrich the plantings at the perimeter boundaries of the farm (fencing).
• we proceed to the formation of the farm garden: a field with a variety of flowers and ground cover plants
• that are combined with a large natural lake, that will host aquatic plants and fish (which help to clean the lake)
• we will complete the “open play forest”, an area for our little friends, where various original activities and skill games take place
• we will complete the structure of the in-farm pathways and the outdoor seating
• finally, we will place lighting and signposts in the whole area
What we have completed so far in the “little school of the earth”
We have finalized a part of the planting areas of the farm, such as:
• the raised rectangular and linear vegetable flower beds, where we have applied our “Layered Recomposition' method
Within 5 years, we created a forest-garden, with a very wide variety of ornamental, edible trees and shrubs
We have completed a 100sqm system of “Circular vegetable garden":
• a composition of 6 peripheral circular flower beds
• with a circular lake in the center
• with fruit trees and herbs, sugar canes and many others around the garden
A small-scale ecosystem, with the maximum utilization of arable space, with the igloo-shaped mobile henhouse to match exactly each of our flowerbeds, while our hens “prepare” the soil by cleaning, digging and fertilizing it. We then add a "special" ingredient and we just plant our vegetables!
Activities that will take place in the buildings:
• seminars for adults and children about our Ecological method " Layered Recomposition"
• special programs of "Social and Therapeutic Horticulture"
• screenings and speeches by invited speakers
• discussions and exchange of views, questions, answers, reflections
• preparation of our weekly "little baskets" of fruits, vegetables and herbs
• processing of fruits and vegetables, into jams, sauces, pickles
Utility of buildings
• as a break room for our students and/or visitors
• as a shelter during extreme weather conditions (high temperatures, intense sunshine, storms, rain)
• a toilet
• a Cob Oven
• as an example of bioclimatic, natural construction
• as an example of ecological management of natural resources (rainwater collection, utilization of solar energy, wind, natural light, etc.)
• as an example of ecological waste management - creation of 'banana circle'. (management and reuse of "gray water" from the sinks / sinks and "black water" from the toilet)

I grew up in a suburb of Thessaloniki (St. John), in the early 1970s, and although the houses we lived in were "petty bourgeois" working-class homes, I felt like I was living in a "rural village", since all around, as far as I could see, there were small forests, almond trees and crops, wheat and barley, orchards, horses, donkeys and cows...
Whenever I would turn my gaze to the block of flats, a feeling of unhappiness would fill my soul, but then I would turn my gaze to the endless meadows and my soul would feel free, blessed and immeasurably wealthy ....
Together with the other children of our neighborhood we would imagine and conjure the most incredible games, all made up with the rough materials that nature generously offers to all of us
